The city of Marlborough is approximately 27 miles West of Boston and is centrally located with easy access to routes 85, 495, 290, 20, and the Mass Pike. Named after Marlborough, England, this diverse community offers highly ranked schools, a wide range of recreation areas, sports arenas, entertainment venues, restaurants, shopping, and more.
From beaches (World War 11 Memorial Beach) to bike paths and trails (Assabet River Trail and Bike Path), to Conservation and Nature Parks (Ghiloni Nature Trail, Marlborough State Forest, The Grove Conservation Land, Memorial Forest Reservation), to self guided walking tours (Museum in the Streets), Marlborough is exceptional. Not to be missed are the sports arenas, New England Sports Center and the Yawkey Sports Training Center, complete with skating rinks and gyms, and the location for the Special Olympics. Marlborough Country Club is ideal for golf.
The schools are a tremendous asset to the city of Marlborough. Students at the Middle School experience 3D printing classes, hands on learning in STEM week, robotics, art, and more. Clubs include theatre, robotics, dance, National Junior Honor Society, art. Students at the High School have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams.
